Mudras for Peace, Energy and Healing

Hand mudras are gestures that can help us during our journey to rebuild our connection with alcohol.

There are hundreds of mudras but we recommend trying these as you start to explore a mudra practice.

Tips:
Posture
- Sit in a comfortable position on the floor or on a chair with a straight back. See our meditation posture video for more information.

Hands - All mudras are practiced with both hands unless otherwise indicated. Hands should face up not down (energy draining)

Duration - Start by holding the mudras 2-5 minutes. As you increase your practice you can increase the time up to 45 minutes per day.

Pressure - The gestures should be light, soft in pressure. If you are gripping tightly the energy will not flow evenly.
